Digital Marketing Specialist at Honeywell
During my time with Honeywell, I worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist on almost 600 individual projects and assisted customer marketing teams as a writer or editor and helped them execute customer-facing campaigns. My tasks on these projects included writing or editing emails, social media posts, ad copy, website copy, blogs, video titles and descriptions, and more.
I was awarded a special license for Copilot early on in my career with Honeywell and I helped develop a standard use for the AI's ability in Microsoft Word. This helped speed up the writing processes and created a new way to get inspiration for writing without getting stuck in the drafting phase.
In order to continue expanding my knowledge, I sought out projects that were connected to our website, learned the basics of AEM, and began an online course on HTML, which I am still currently taking. A company's digital footprint is extremely important to their credibility, searchability, and more and I am striving toward a focus on website copy as well as continuing my overall goal of becoming a UX writer. My time at Honeywell allowed me to grow as a writer, sharpen my editorial skills, and adapt my techniques and knowledge to a more technical industry and audience.
